If you're looking for top dollar, you're in the wrong place. This offer is for a fast and hassle free scooter sale. The aim of this offer is to allow you to dispose of otherwise unwanted scooters without having to deal with tyre kickers while still being profitable for our business. As such we don't offer a lot, please don't be offended if you're unhappy with our offer. We are open to slight negotiation in some cases.

Many factors go into calculating how much your scooter is worth and how much we offer. First and foremost is condition followed closely by desirability of the model. In some cases we may be overloaded with a particular model or the model is of little or no interest to us. In this event we reserve the right to decline in making an offer.

Our workshop is located in Ipswich, QLD 4305. We prefer for scooters that we make offers on to be bought to the workshop for inspection and handover. We understand this is not always possible so we also offer a freight service. The cost of transport is deducted from the offer amount. You are also welcome to arrange your own freight in order to get the scooter to us. Please make us aware of which option you'd prefer on the following page.

With ALL scooter purchases no money is exchanged until the scooter has been inspected, in person, by one of our technicians. For people bringing their scooter in to the workshop, this usually takes less than 30min. For shipped scooters, inspection will take place no more than 48hrs after being received by the workshop.

Inspections take place in order to confirm the information you provide. If your information is accurate then there will be no issues. If however your information turns out to be inaccurate then the offer amount may be decreased or withdrawn. Inaccuracy doesn't mean you're lying ie. customer states "scooter in full working condition" inspection reveals evidence of internal water damage despite still being fully operational. Water damage can be a slow killer of parts and for this reason we don't re-sell anything water effected. Despite the scooter still being functional in this case we would provide evidence to the customer and reassess the offer.

In the case where a scooter is received via freight and the inspection reveals major inconsistencies with the information provided (we will provide evidence of this) we may withdraw the offer. If this happens full freight cost both too and from our workshop become the responsibility of the scooters owner. Failure to pay for freight will deem the scooter abandoned and it will be disposed of. For this reason customers who wish to freight their scooter to us should take particular care to provide as much accurate information as possible prior to accepting our offer. This is a situation we do not want to be in and for this reason, as already stated, we prefer scooters to be brought in for inspection. 

All payments are made via bank transfer, there are no exceptions. This keeps a digital record of the sale/purchase/payment for future reference. PayID and OSKO capable payments are instant, we will always use these options first if available. In the case of bank transfers payments may take up to 3 business days to clear into your account. 

We will only consider making offers on 2 wheel stand up electric scooters. Disability scooters, mopeds and other PMDs are of no interest to us. We are also not interested in unbranded or cloned "budget" scooters the likes of which can be seen for sale everywhere online under various different brands/names. These scooters are sold exclusively online with no common Australian distributor or shop front. They are classed as "disposable scooters" as the cost of repairing outweighs the cost of replacement in almost all cases. There is no warranty associated with these scooters and the sellers do not provide spare parts.

Obviously it goes without saying that we are happy to accept donations. Lithium batteries, particulrly big ones like in scooters, are difficult and often costly to dispose of. We can take care of this for you. Please be aware though even when it comes to donations we reserve the right to refuse. This is largely due to our limited storage capacity. In order to facilitate this offer we require the collection of your personal information. For customers wishing for us to organise freight for the scooter please provide the scooters address. Upon successful completion of a purchase, a copy of your photo ID will be required. All information is stored securely for only as long as required. We will never sell or otherwise provide your information to any person or business that doesn't require the information to facilitate the deal. You are at no stage obligated to sell us your scooter or accept our offer. The choice is entirely yours, we only offer this service for mutual convenience and wish for our customers to leave smiling regardless of if they are buying or selling.
