So... You Want To Sell Your Scooter? 🤔💭🛴💰😍🥳

Before We Get Ahead of Ourselves, There Are a Few Things You Need to Know!

If you're looking for top dollar, you're in the wrong place. This offer is for a fast and hassle-free scooter sale. The aim of this offer is to allow you to dispose of otherwise unwanted scooters without having to deal with tyre kickers while still being profitable for our business. As such, we don't offer a lot, so please don't be offended if you're unhappy with our offer. We are open to slight negotiation in some cases.

Many factors go into calculating how much your scooter is worth and how much we offer. First and foremost is condition, followed closely by the desirability of the model. In some cases, we may be overloaded with a particular model, or the model may be of little or no interest to us. In these situations, we reserve the right to decline to make an offer.

Our workshop is located in Ipswich, QLD 4305. We prefer scooters that we make offers on to be brought to the workshop for inspection and handover. We understand this is not always possible, so we also offer a freight service. The cost of transport is deducted from the offer amount. You are also welcome to arrange your own freight to get the scooter to us. Please let us know which option you would prefer when making contact in regards to a scooter sale.

With all scooter purchases, no money is exchanged until the scooter has been inspected in person by one of our technicians. For people bringing their scooter to the workshop, this usually takes less than 30 minutes. For shipped scooters, inspection will take place within 48 hours of the scooter being received by the workshop.

Inspections take place to confirm the information you provide. If your information is accurate, there will be no issues. If, however, your information turns out to be inaccurate, the offer amount may be decreased or withdrawn.

Inaccuracy doesn't necessarily mean you're lying. For example, a customer may state that a scooter is in full working condition, but inspection reveals evidence of internal water damage despite the scooter still being fully operational. Water damage can be a slow killer of components, and for this reason we do not re-sell water-affected items. Despite the scooter still functioning in this case, we would provide evidence to the customer and reassess the offer accordingly.

In the event that a scooter is received via freight and inspection reveals major inconsistencies with the information provided (evidence of which will be supplied), we may withdraw the offer. If this happens, the full freight costs to and from our workshop become the responsibility of the scooter's owner. Failure to pay these freight costs will result in the scooter being deemed abandoned and subsequently disposed of.

For this reason, customers who wish to freight their scooter to us should take particular care to provide as much accurate information as possible before accepting our offer. This is a situation we do not wish to encounter and, as already stated, we strongly prefer scooters to be brought in for inspection wherever possible.

All payments are made via bank transfer; there are no exceptions. This ensures a digital record of the sale, purchase, and payment for future reference. PayID and OSKO-capable payments are instant, and we will always use these options first where available. In the case of standard bank transfers, payments may take up to three business days to clear into your account.

We will only consider making offers on two-wheel stand-up electric scooters. Disability scooters, mopeds, and other PMDs are of no interest to us. We are also not interested in unbranded or cloned "budget" scooters of the type commonly found for sale online under various brand names.

These scooters are typically sold exclusively online, with no established Australian distributor or shopfront. They are often classed as "disposable scooters" because the cost of repair outweighs the cost of replacement in most cases. There is generally no warranty support associated with these scooters, and sellers rarely provide spare parts.

Obviously, it goes without saying that we are happy to accept donations. Lithium batteries, particularly large ones such as those found in electric scooters, can be difficult and often costly to dispose of. We can take care of this for you.

Please be aware, however, that even when it comes to donations, we reserve the right to refuse. This is largely due to our limited storage capacity. If you wish to donate your scooter to us, please let us know on the following page.

In order to facilitate this service, we require the collection of certain personal information. For customers wishing for us to organise freight, please provide the address where the scooter is located. Upon successful completion of a purchase, a copy of your photo ID will also be required.

All information is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary. We will never sell or otherwise provide your information to any person or business that does not require it to facilitate the transaction.

For more information regarding the collection and handling of personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

This page is intended to clarify our scooter purchasing process. If understood and followed, there should be no reason for unexpected surprises for either party.

Please DO NOT press "I ACCEPT" unless you have fully read the above, understand it, and are happy with the terms. By pressing 'I ACCEPT', you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

You are under no obligation at any stage to sell us your scooter or accept our offer. The choice is entirely yours. We offer this service purely for mutual convenience and want our customers to leave smiling, regardless of whether they are buying or selling.
